Enric Fossas elected ACUP's new President

The rector of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Enric Fossas has been elected President of the Catalan Association of Public Universities (ACUP). At the regular meeting of ACUP, held at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), the members of the new board were also elected: First Vicepresident - Sergi Bonet, rector of the Universitat de Girona; Secretary - Roberto Fernández, rector of the Universitat de Lleida and ACUP's former president; Second Vicepresident - Gabriel Masfurroll, president of the Social Council of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona; and Third Vicepresident - Josep Vilarasau, president of the Advisory Board of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya Foundation (UOC).
