Approved the internationalization indicators of the Catalan public university system
The ACUP and the Interuniversity Council of Catalonia (CIC) approved on October 4th a limited list of indicators to display and analyze the internationalization of the Catalan public university system. This list will be used to build a database in the near future that will allow for meaningful statistical information on the internationalization of our university system. It will also help to improve the ranks of the Catalan universities in international rankings.
A specific working group of experts in international relations of the Catalan public universities has been working for months in order to identify, define and agree on the selection of appropriate indicators. The formal approval of the list took place in Tarragona in a meeting of the International Relations Committee of the CIC.
