TeRRIFICA Consortium Meeting in Poznan, Poland
Between the 30th of May and the 1st of June, the TeRRIFICA Consortium has met in Poznan for an in-person meeting, the first since the Covid-19 pandemic started. The project, which is now coming to an end, has been an incredible experience filled with research, innovation, climate action and citizen engagement which has allowed us all to share and gain a great deal of knowledge.
The meeting, hosted by the Adam Mickiewicz University (UAM Poznan), has been a fulfilling occasion to talk about all the work that has been done in the different Pilot Regions, to celebrate all the achievements that have been accomplished despite the difficult international context of the past couple of years, and to look ahead to the outputs and events that are coming within the next few months.
Three days of insightful exchange that have also given us the chance to reconnect and to explore the outstanding green areas and projects that Poznan has to offer. Our hosts have prepared interesting activities to get to know the city, its gastronomy, history, architecture, as well as its green wedges.
After three days together, we leave Poznan reenergised and ready for what’s to come. Our next big appointments will be during the 9th Living Knowledge Conference 2022, in Groningen, and the TeRRIFICA International Summer School, which will be held between the 28th and the 30th of September in Barcelona. We will keep you all updated on the climate-action activities that our Pilot Regions are implementing, the national dissemination events and the outputs that we are preparing in the hope to make a real impact and inspire more RRI projects and climate advocacy initiatives.
