Seminar on 'China's University and Research System: Searching ways of China-Catalonia cooperation'

The education system in China is the world's largest, with over 9 million students doing the entrance exam to higher education (National Higher Education Entrance Examination) in 2014. It also has a research system rapidly expanding with more than 7,800 research institutions and where the private sector has an increasingly important role.

The seminar aims to deepen knowledge about the university system and research in China and provide information on the policies of the Catalan Government with China. It will also present the Chinese recruiting system of students and examples of collaborations between Catalan public universities and Chinese institutions will be presented.
