The ACUP visits Scotland to learn about its university and research system

On Monday and Tuesday, September 3 and 4, a delegation of the Catalan Association of Public Universities (ACUP) visits the leading Scottish university and research institutions (Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE), Scottish Funding Council (SFC), and Research & Knowledge Exchange Committee (RKEC), among others). The Catalan delegation will also meet representatives of the Government and the Parliament of Scotland in order to have a better insight of the Scottish R+D system. The meetings will be held in Edinburgh and Glasgow and will focus on institutional governance, funding and university research, policy and structure of university staff, science policy and entrepreneurship, employment and the transfer of knowledge.
