The fourth seminar on teaching skills for Haitian university professors organized by the ACUP begins today
On Thursday, July 4, begins the fourth and final seminar of the 'Teaching skills training program for university professors from Haiti', organized by the ACUP and the Université Publique du Sud-est in Jacmel. The main goal of this training program, with financial support from the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development (AECID), is to improve the teaching skills of teachers of Haitian regional public universities.
In this last seminar, which will be coordinated by Professors Anna Cross, Tomàs Peire and Antoni Navío of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the work will focus on the completion and submission of projects concerning the development of teaching units that have been carried out by the thirty participants of the course during the last few months. The visit of the Catalan delegation to Haiti will also equip and launch two computer rooms at the University of Jacmel, as well as to contribute in the design of its campus.
