RecerCaixa selects 25 new research projects

The RecerCaixa 2012 call has selected 25 projects of scientific and social interest among 369 projects submitted. RecerCaixa is a grant research program to fund research projects carried out by researchers from universities and research centers in Catalonia. The call has two main objectives: to promote scientific research of excellence in our country and to make society participant of the progress of science and human and social benefits.

The Obra Social ‘la Caixa’ finances a total of € 1,800,000 in the third year of the program. The maximum funding that every project can receive, including the institutional overhead, is € 100,000. The research established by the third call was framed in the areas of culture, education, social inclusion, disability, employment or public health areas with a clear social component. The high participation of the projects and their quality made the RecerCaixa 2012 call very competitive.
